Text Study with Rabbi Borodin

Join Rabbi Borodin in studying a few recent teshuvot (religious responses) to contemporary issues written by the Committee on Jewish Law and Standards, the religious decision making body of the Conservative movement.

Come join us to study a few recent teshuvot on the topics of Contemporary Modesty in Thought and Dress (Nov 2nd), Donations of Ill Gotten Gains (Nov 9th) and Alternative Ecologically Sustainable and Economical Burial Options (Nov 16).  Rabbi Borodin will teach on the key halachic arguments related to each of these topics as welcome as the conclusions reached by the committee. Open to all levels of Jewish text background.  Sources will be provided in Hebrew and English during class.  Feel free to be in touch with Rabbi Borodin in advance if you want the full teshvot before class.
